Derek Palmer – Project Management Dr Derek Palmer is an experienced commercial technologist with strong entrepreneurial background and passion for technology exploitation. As a Co-founder of a venture capital backed Life sciences Start-up Company, Derek has an excellent knowledge of life sciences sector. Derek has a strong academic background with experience in the commercial exploitation of technology, commercial and technical project management. Adebayo Yinka Ogunjimi – Project Management and New Technology Development Yinka is the Founder and Managing Director of Saroko Technologies. A Prince 2 accredited Practioner, he was a former Practice Leader has worked for and with leading research organisations. Dr Ogunjimi is particularly experienced in project management, market evaluation and development of innovative applications of new technologies. He undertakes manufacturing processes auditing and strategic partnering for new ventures. He builds the business case and socio-economic justification required for funding of new technologies. Brenda Chisala- Water and Environmental Engineering Dr Chisala is an experienced Environmental Scientist undertaking risk assessment of contaminated land and groundwater. A former Visiting Research Fellow at University of Sheffield, where amongst other things she co-authored a technical report for the England and Wales Environment Agency on sewage risks to urban groundwater, Brenda has extensive experience in drinking water quality monitoring and pollution control for African countries. Patrick Quinn – Asset Tracking and Technology Procurement. Patrick is a well-respected sales and marketing professional with many years of boardroom level experience. He has considerable experience of working in the paper industry with paper converters such as Avery Dennison and Sihl of Germany. Patrick Quinn is currently the European Sales Director for X-Ident, German RFID manufacturing company, with the combined responsibility for Sales and Marketing for the Scottish Paper Manufacturing Group, Smith and McLaurin. Geoff Haswell - Manufacturing Methods and Project Management Geoff has been the Managing Director of a Toolmaking and Injection Moulding business for fifteen years. During Geoff's time as the MD his company's list of customers included: Ford Motor Company, W. Vinten, and IKEA. Geoff, a machinist by trade, has created many strategic manufacturing alliances and is particularly experienced in the metal fabrication, tool making, injection moulding, electronic insert moulding, product assembly, packaging and distribution. Geoff Haswell is strategically involved with a number of European funded research projects and is the IPR holder on a few of such projects.
